Pingping Yang
Ms. Pingping Yang is a research assistant at CIDRAP, focusing on Promising Practices and At-Risk Populations and Pandemic Influenza, and a graduate student at the University of Minnesota, seeking her master's degree in health journalism. Ms. Yang received her BA in biotechnology from Peking University in China. She has recently worked as a journalist and editor in China Central Television, where she developed her skills and interests in journalism, especially in public health, medical, and science reporting. During the years she worked as a professional director, Ms. Yang directed several programs related to China's environmental problems and medical issues, such as coal fire in China and treatment of stroke.
